Job summary

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to oversee daily nursing care at The Hoy Center. You will lead Team Leaders, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensuring accurate documentation, staffing coverage, and resident engagement.

Under the DON, you will maintain regulatory compliance, reinforce core values, and support care conferences, performance improvement, and education to maintain competency across the team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (or compact state).
• At least three years of clinical experience in long-term care.
• At least three years supervisory or managerial experience in healthcare.
• Experience with care plan development, resident care delivery, and recognizing/reporting changes.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Support and demonstrate practices consistent with Westminster-Canterbury's mission and policies.
• Lead and manage Team Leaders, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Delegate clinical responsibilities and ensure shift coverage.
• Monitor performance for regulatory compliance and take corrective action.
• Collaborate with DON and Leadership to address concerns and coordinate actions.
• Communicate operational needs across departments promptly.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and support care conferences.
• Identify staff development needs and contribute to ongoing education.
• Oversee resident assessments and documentation within timeframes.
• Enforce safety protocols and address abuse or allegations.
• Represent the community in professional activities.
• Assist with regulatory survey processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
