Allegheny General Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network, is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to oversee professional nursing care, assess patient needs, and coordinate staffing across the unit.

This full‑time role within Hospital Operations requires leadership, effective communication, and adherence to accreditation and regulatory standards; PA RN licensure or eNLC, background checks, and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Clearance.
• CPR – American Heart Association.
• Current State of PA RN licensure or eNLC.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, monitors and collects data related to the facility and department's quality and satisfaction measures.
• Serves as the clinical expert and role model for staff; supervises and mentors staff.
• Demonstrates effective leadership through communication and interpersonal skills.
• Utilizes the nursing process in providing and coordinating patient care.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels and staffing mix to meet productivity needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
