Job summary

The RN Clinical Supervisor for the Trauma ICU at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA leads and coordinates the delivery of professional nursing care on the unit. You will act as a clinical expert and role model for staff while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include overseeing quality and patient satisfaction metrics, mentoring staff, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or relevant experience/education in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience: 3 years’ experience in clinical specialty preferred; supervisory experience preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC; CPR certification required.

About This Role

The RN Clinical Supervisor for the Trauma ICU at Allegheny General Hospital is responsible for directing and providing professional nursing care, coordinating daily clinical and operational components of the unit, and serving as a clinical expert and role model for staff.

Highlights

• Schedule: Full-time, 72 hours every two weeks

• Licenses & Certifications: Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). CPR – American Heart Association certification required.
