Allegheny General’s Hospital Operations provides leadership and support to all patient care units through the coordination of staffing resources, patient flow and bed utilization. The RN Clinical Supervisor prioritizes the placement of patients across the hospital based on clinical need in accordance with capacity and admit/transfer/discharge orders. The Supervisor will provide clinical direction, patient placement oversight, and supervision of the Discharge Lounge.

Directs and provides professional nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation; coordinates the daily clinical and operational components of the unit.
