Aveanna Healthcare in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (RN) to lead internal case management and supervise field nurses delivering in-home skilled nursing care. The role combines clinical expertise with administrative oversight to ensure Aveanna's high standards of care are met.

The successful candidate will perform Start of Care assessments, re-evaluations, and care plan updates, while mentoring staff and maintaining compliance with state and company policies. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Current, good-standing RN license in the state of practice.
• At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience.
• Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the designated territory.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal casework and evaluate nursing talent development.
• Perform Start of Care Assessments and Re-evaluations to transition patients home from facilities.
• Review physicians’ orders and update care plans and documentation as needed.
• Assist in interviewing, selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff.
• Enhance the clinical expertise of field staff to ensure safe, high-quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams.
