Trinity Health Grand Rapids is seeking a Clinical Risk Coordinator to support the development, education, maintenance, and accountability of our risk management program. You will collaborate with leadership to promote safety, identify adverse events, and conduct investigations with a focus on risk reduction.

The role requires a BSN and Michigan RN licensure, with preferred experience in quality improvement and risk management certification within 3 years of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required for nursing practice.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements systems for risk identification, investigation and risk reduction.
• Oversees Serious Reportable Events investigation and communication to Risk Management.
• Facilitates a proactive clinical and non-clinical risk management program to promote safety.
• Rounds with service lines and ambulatory offices to address questions and concerns.
• Collaborates with service line leadership to prepare data for Trinity Health audits.
• Investigates adverse events, Sentinel Events, or near-miss events.
