Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Resource Manager to coordinate patient care and ensure timely discharge planning for a defined patient population. The role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, adherence to care maps and clinical guidelines, and promotion of cost-effective, high-quality care.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years RN experience, NYS licensure, PRI/Screen certification, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current NY State RN registration, diploma and licensure required.
• At least 5 years of clinical RN experience with utilization review and discharge planning.
• PRI and Screen certification required.
• InterQual knowledge/experience preferred.
• Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team to plan and implement discharge plan.
• Promote high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Assess patient needs using Care Maps and approved clinical guidelines.
• Facilitate care with third-party representatives to optimize reimbursement.
