Job summary

SCP Health based in Bristol, TN, seeks an experienced clinician-leader to drive clinical performance improvement across hospital settings. You will coordinate QA/PI activities, collaborate with Medical Director and Field Operations, and oversee daily practice operations and provider engagement.

A Bachelor’s in nursing is required, with 3+ years in QA/PI and 5+ years clinical experience. Travel to Ballad facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace lines of business and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Mid-level knowledge of healthcare informatics and clinical quality measures.
• Experience in staff development and quality improvement methodology preferred.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate QA and PI activities, preferred.
• Understanding of financial and budgeting concepts.
• Ability to build partnerships to execute business strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Represent SCP Health, patient services, and the Hospital to retain referrals and grow volumes, by enhancing satisfaction and quality metrics.
• Support training coordination and orientation for new office staff and providers, including packets and access.
• Coordinate physician interviews with Staffing Operations and medical directors for facility tours.
• Promote professional communication among hospital staff, patients, and the SCP Health team.
• Serve as liaison for the Medical Director and program operations.
• Foster collaborative relationships to meet organizational goals.
• Monitor onsite performance and advise on improvements to leadership and field teams.
• Oversee daily practice operations and physician engagement initiatives.
• Lead daily workflows to drive clinical performance improvements and provider education.
• Recommend service improvements to KPI targets and client/provider satisfaction.
• Facilitate HM Committee meetings with hospital leadership and SCP Health reps.
• Engage with Medical Director to optimize participation and recruitment.
• Remain available by phone/pager for emergencies and patient issues.
• Collaborate with hospital admin on quality measures, readmissions, LOS, and coding trends.
• Participate in organizational planning and program evaluation with leadership.
• Assist in developing clinical protocols and workflows.
• Ensure completion of site-specific requirements and training.
• Attend corporate meetings, pilots, and cross-coverage as needed.
• Support value-based care goals and data sharing.
• Perform additional duties as requested by leadership.
