HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood in the Houston area seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions across shifts. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care and serves as a resource for staff while upholding the organization’s mission and values.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas, a Bachelor’s degree, and hands-on Med-Surg RN experience, with BCLS and Nonviolent Crisis

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• RN with active Texas license or compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 60 days of start date.
• 2+ years RN experience in a Med/Surg unit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during the shift.
• Coordinate nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care and mentor staff.
• Assist with admissions and discharges for efficient throughput.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and inventory/ppe control.
• Contribute to staff training, interviewing and performance evaluations.
