Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead nursing care on a designated unit, collaborating with the management team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. You will model the organization’s values while guiding staff and coordinating care across shifts.

The CNC will support admission/discharge processes, participate in quality assessments, and drive initiatives to improve engagement and service.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse (RN).
• ACLS and BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Associate or bachelor degree in nursing (ADN/BSN).

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Monitors and evaluates nursing care in collaboration with management.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to improve outcomes and service.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies to improve engagement and accountability.
• Participates in interviewing, training, and performance development of staff.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Manages inventory control and supplies.
