Northwell Health is seeking aRegistered Nurse to implement age-specific care plans using the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and the health team. The role requires clinical judgment in coordinating patient care and directing unit activities.

The RN will assess multiple organ systems, manage pain and psychosocial needs, document progress, and participate in discharge planning. Strong communication and leadership are essential to ensure safe, high-quality patient care on the unit.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold NY RN licensure.
• BSN preferred; enroll in BSN within 2 years and obtain BSN within 5 years of entry.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct patient interviews and review charts; assess GI, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal and neurological health.
• Determine patient outcomes and plan care with prioritization and documentation.
• Coordinate care with physicians and health-team members; supervise and delegate tasks on the unit.
• Administer prescribed treatments, monitor patient responses, and maintain safety and asepsis.
• Document care provided, communicate changes to team and families, and support discharge planning.
• Provide leadership and clinical judgment in coordinating care and directing team activities.
