Job summary

Good Shepherd is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and skilled nursing care. The RN will assess residents, plan care, and make day-to-day clinical decisions in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

This full-time role offers daytime and nighttime shifts with every other weekend requirements, a $6,000 sign-on bonus paid over a year, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) match, PTO, and EAP.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and nursing assessment skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support nursing staff.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and comprehensive resident assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor resident condition changes and intervene appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with providers, residents, and families.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and regulatory-compliant.
• Support quality initiatives, infection control practices, and resident safety.
