Job summary

The Good Shepherd Community is seeking Registered Nurses for evening and overnight shifts in Sauk Rapids, MN. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available in a resident-focused Skilled Nursing environment.

Candidates must hold MN RN licensure and current CPR/AED certification. We offer generous benefits, PTO, and shift differentials to support dedicated nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed RN in the State of Minnesota.
• Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification required.
• Demonstrate ability to perform responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Practice within the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act and standards of clinical care.
• Delegate, monitor, and provide resident care per care plans.
• Administer and document medications and treatments accurately and promptly.
• Communicate effectively by thorough resident status reports and changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Support and mentor new nursing staff on facility procedures and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency protocols and respond to emergencies.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Practice within the scope of the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, following recognized standards of clinical care
• Delegate, monitor, and provide high-quality resident care in accordance with individual care plans
• Administer and document medications and treatments accurately and promptly
• Communicate effectively by receiving and providing thorough reports on resident status and any changes in condition
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Support and mentor new nursing staff, assisting them in learning facility procedures, policies, and standards of care
• Maintain current knowledge of emergency protocols and respond appropriately to all emergency situations
