The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing (or related field), RN licensure in Illinois, and typically 3 years of acute care experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where practice occurs.
• Typically 3 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction to clinical and support staff for efficient department operations and patient flow.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care via nursing process, assessments, care plans, and outcome evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care by facilitating communication among patients, families, departments, and staff.
• Mentor and supervise staff; participate in hiring, orientation, and performance guidance with unit leadership.
• Assist with HR duties and staffing to maintain productivity and appropriate service levels.
• Monitor care quality and ensure compliance with hospital, nursing, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to budget planning and ensure availability of supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement new programs and coordinate vendor in-services and product trials.
