Job summary

DCH Health System seeks a Clinical Informaticist to collaborate with clinical leaders, IT and informatics teams to standardize information systems and improve patient care across the organization. You will help train new medical staff and provide ongoing education on EHR functionality and workflows.

You will participate in committees, support IT change management, and ensure downtime procedures are communicated and executed, while prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Alabama RN licensure.
• Minimum of three years RN clinical experience.
• Experience in Meditech and/or Clinical Informatics preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Systems Optimization/Maintenance: participate in design, testing and implementation of clinical information systems.
• Workflow and Process Improvement: collaborate with leaders to drive clinical workflow changes.
• Training and Education: provide initial and ongoing training on EHR functionality.
• Committee Support: participate in/interdisciplinary IT-related committees.
• Working Conditions: ensure downtime communication and timely stakeholder updates.
