Job summary

Dignity Health is seeking a Clinical Informaticist RN in California to lead the planning, implementation, and sustainment of clinical health information technology with a strong clinical understanding. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure HIT strategies meet patient care needs and guide system optimization and quality reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, California RN license, and 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (in Computer Science, MIS, Nursing, Informatics, HIT, Health Administration or other related field)

Responsibilities

Lead and support the planning, implementation, and sustainment of clinical HIT with clinical understanding.
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure HIT strategies meet patient care needs.
Guide ongoing strategy for system optimization and quality reporting.
Communicate technology changes, upgrades, and downtimes to clinical customers.
Engage with leaders and experts to influence design, development of projects, curricula and workflows.
Contribute to projects from kickoff through implementation, assess workflow impact.
