Lakewood Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Informaticist to bridge clinical practice and technology, optimizing the electronic health record and supporting end users. The role centers on education, troubleshooting, training project design, and performance improvement to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

The position is full-time and mostly on-site at the Main Campus in Staples, MN, with collaboration across providers and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted MN RN licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical practice experience.
• Previous experience in clinical informatics preferred.
• Demonstrated team leading and teaching experience preferred.
• Must possess astute communication skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with providers, nursing, and all other users of the clinical information system.
• Provide education, support, and troubleshooting when necessary, and collaborates to develop strategies and best practice.
• Coordinate and/or participate in end-user and project team efforts in the design, implementation, and evaluation of training projects.
• Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives as it relates to practice and information systems.
• Use knowledge to improve clinical processes, and optimize clinical systems to meet values, vision, and mission of the organization.
