Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a RN - Clinical Informatics Specialist to serve as a resource for clinical applications and coordinate IT-driven workflow improvements. The role includes training physician staff, residents, locums, and midlevel providers, and supporting system upgrades within inpatient clinical applications.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, a nursing degree, and at least one year of clinical nursing experience; experience as an IT SME or super-user is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license active is required.
• Nursing degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience as a clinical IT subject matter expert or super-user preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource for clinical applications and IT system training.
• Collaborate with leadership to coordinate workflow and process improvements related to IT systems.
• Provide initial training to physician staff, residents, locums, and midlevel providers; ongoing education for staff and super-users.
