Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking an Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer to lead innovations in clinical technology and informatics. You will oversee physician data management, workflow integration, and the EHR strategy to improve patient care, safety, and provider efficiency across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Collaborating with CMIOs, executives, and clinicians, you will drive analytics, policy, and training initiatives while shaping a scalable clinical technology

Qualifications

• MD licensed in TN, MS, or AR as required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics required.
• Ability to maintain a clinical practice for 20% time commitment.
• Familiarity with health care trends, regulatory guidelines and clinical technologies.
• Expertise in clinical informatics and EHR optimization.

Responsibilities

• Achieves consensus for clinical informatics strategies with senior leadership, nursing informatics and physicians.
• Increases quality of care by standardizing and optimizing EHR and clinical IT systems.
• Develops and maintains the physician builder program.
• Liaises to provide clinical input in selection, build, and implementation of solutions to strengthen care delivery and research.
• Provides medical and technology expertise in EHR build and implementation for the medical staff.
• Educates and mentors physicians and clinicians in new physician-based technology and drives project timelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
