Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an RN Clinical Educator to work with the Simulation Lab on a part-time basis. The role focuses on assessing competency, integrating evidence-based education, and advancing quality and patient safety initiatives within the nursing team.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree or BSN with MSN enrollment, Virginia RN licensure, BLS, and 2 years of nursing experience with 3 months as a preceptor. Flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or BSN and enrollment in a Master’s program at start.
RN license in Virginia or multi-state license; BLS certification.
2 years of progressive nursing experience; 3 months as a preceptor.
Eligible for licensure in Commonwealth of Virginia.

Responsibilities

Assess the competency of new nursing staff using system strategies and tools.
Integrate theoretical knowledge into educational experiences for staff.
Prepare annual self-development plans and professional goals.
