Job summary
Inova Health System in Northern Virginia seeks a RN Clinical Educator to support the Critical Care and PCU teams. This full-time role provides systemwide oversight across Inova Alexandria, Fairfax, Fair Oaks, Mount Vernon, and Loudoun, partnering with Nursing Professional Development to advance competency and patient safety.
The candidate must have a Master's degree or BSN and be enrolled in a Master's program, Virginia RN licensure, and BLS.

- Education: Master's degree or BSN and enrollment in a Master's program.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes system strategies and tools to assess competency of new nursing staff focusing on quality and patient safety goals.
- Integrates theoretical knowledge, evidence-based principles and clinical nursing expertise into educational experiences for both new and experienced team members.
- Prepares annual self-development plans, sets professional goals and seeks opportunities for achieving them.
- Contributes to quality and safety initiatives across the organization.
