Job summary

Aspen Valley Hospital in Aspen, CO is hiring for a full-time Registered Nurse in the Same Day Surgery and PACU department. The RN provides professional nursing care per standards, uses the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and supports the medical team’s treatment plan.

Requirements include ADN, an unrestricted Colorado RN license (or ability to obtain), BLS and ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years in PACU/ICU/ED.

Qualifications

• ADN required with unrestricted RN license in CO or ability to obtain.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• 2+ years in PACU, ICU, ED or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per standards and AVH policy.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families about plan of care and disease management.
• Support medical staff treatment plans and pursue quality improvement.
