Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Same Day Surgery and PACU department in Aspen, Colorado. The role involves delivering professional nursing care in a PACU/SDS setting and supporting the medical team with care plans during day shifts.

Minimum requirements include an ADN, Colorado RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus 2+ years of relevant nursing experience. EPIC experience and BSN/MSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license in Colorado or ability to obtain before start date.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in PACU/ICU/ED/step-down.
• BLS required (ACLS and PALS also required).
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in PACU & SDS, following AVH policies.
• Educate patients and families on plan of care and disease management.
• Support treatment plans and communicate changes to medical team.
