Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse in the Same Day Surgery and PACU department in Aspen, CO. The RN will provide professional care, monitor patients, and collaborate with a medical team.

Requirements include ADN, Colorado RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and 2+ years PACU/ICU/ED experience; BSN/Spanish and EPIC experience preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• ADN required with unrestricted Colorado RN license or ability to obtain before start date.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred or required upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years of PACU/ICU/ED or similar nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with AVH policies and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Educate patients and families on plan of care and disease management.
• Support medical team and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
