Job summary

Aspen Valley Health in Aspen, CO is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Surgery and PACU team. The RN will provide professional care in accordance with standards, perform the nursing process, and support the treatment plan. You should have ADN, CO RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS and 2+ years PACU/ICU/ED.

Qualifications

• ADN required with RN licensure in CO.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications preferred.
• 2+ years PACU/ICU/ED experience.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional RN care in PACU and SDS, following standards and AVH policy.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and disease management.
• Collaborate with medical staff and support treatment plans as directed.
