Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced OR nursing professional to serve as a clinical expert, educating and guiding surgical staff while delivering direct patient care as needed. This role emphasizes ethical decision making, quality improvement, and collaboration with leaders to address patient and department concerns.

The position requires a nursing degree, Georgia licensure, BCLS, and 2 years OR experience, with AORN certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Georgia licensure or Multistate Licensure (NLC/eNLC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• Advanced certification in the field of specialty (AORN) preferred.

• Serve as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff.
• Act as a change agent and promote quality through the utilization of clinical expertise.
