Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia seeks a clinical nursing leader to provide education, research, coaching and direct care in surgical services. This role partners with leaders to promote quality and ethical decision making, and serves as a change agent when staffing or caseload demands.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Nursing, 2 years of Operating Room experience, and Georgia RN licensure with BCLS; an AORN certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in Georgia and Basic Life Support certification required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation and ethical decision making for surgical services staff.
• Act as a change agent to promote quality through clinical expertise and leadership collaboration.
• Provide clinical care as needed when staffing or caseload demands, and communicate concerns to leaders.
