Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified RN to serve as a clinical expert in the surgical services setting, providing education, direct patient care and leadership collaboration. This role emphasizes ethical decision making and quality promotion through clinical expertise.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, Georgia licensure, and BCLS, with at least 2 years of OR nursing experience. Advanced specialty certification is preferred, and duties include staff communication and care

Qualifications

• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
• RN licensure in Georgia and/or multistate licensure.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff.
• Act as change agent to promote quality through the utilization of clinical expertise.
• Provide clinical care as needed when staffing and/or case load demands.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leaders as needed.
