Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an experienced RN for the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) role. You will work to improve the quality and completeness of clinical documentation, coordinating with physicians, nurses, and coding staff to ensure accurate reimbursement for DRG-based payers.

Responsibilities include conducting admission and continued stay reviews, educating care teams, and leading documentation initiatives while maintaining remote-work requirements and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Educates care teams on documentation and coding requirements.
• Ensures medical necessity and DRG alignment.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and coders.
• Maintains compliance with remote work agreements.

Responsibilities

• Improves the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation.

• Writes queries to improve documentation.
