Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an Auditor-CDI Nurse Educator to participate in the daily activities of the Clinical Documentation Department and to lead training, audits, and provider education. The role supports accurate data reporting and uses 3M-360 tools to enhance learning and performance.

Qualifications include an active RN license in GA, CCDS certification, a Bachelor's degree, and 5–10 years of nursing plus 3–5 years in clinical documentation.

• 5–10 years clinical nursing experience.
• 3–5 years experience clinical documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day educational support for clinical documentation program priorities.
• Function in the capacity of Clinical Documentation Specialist when not involved in educational activities.
• Reviews CDS productivity reports and conducts internal audits to provide CDI feedback and performance improvement opportunities.
• Manage process flow and education plan including onboarding of new staff and ongoing physician education.
• Coordinate with other Clinical Documentation Specialists, CDI staff and Manager.
• Assist in training for coding guidelines with HIM leadership.
