Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an Auditor-CDI Nurse Educator to lead educational efforts within the Clinical Documentation Department. You will facilitate documentation improvements, conduct audits, and support data reporting while educating CDI staff, residents, physicians, and administrative staff.

The role requires GA RN licensure, CCDS certification, and 5–10 years of clinical nursing with 3–5 years in clinical documentation. Masters degree and management experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• RN license in GA required and CCDS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 5–10 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 3–5 years of clinical documentation experience.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Experience in critical care nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day educational support for CDI priorities.
• Review productivity reports and conduct quarterly audits.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing staff education.
• Educate physicians and staff on coding guidelines and documentation.
• Collaborate with HIM leadership on education development.
