Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation seeks an RN Clinical Competency Coordinator to lead education, competency assessment, and staff development across the facility. You will design and deliver training, evaluate care quality, and drive performance improvement initiatives to ensure safe, high-quality resident care.

Requires RN licensure and a nursing degree, with experience implementing policy-driven practices and teaching.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college is required.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• Experience in education, training, or competency assessment is highly desirable.
• Experience with policy-driven practices and surveys (Licensure/JCAHO) is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including Word; Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical competency assessment and staff training.
• Provide ongoing education focused on clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Conduct initial and annual competency assessments.
• Develop and oversee preceptor program and train preceptors.
• Collaborate with DHS and unit managers to plan education needs.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with regulations.
