Job summary

The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, perform discharge planning, and contribute to family-centered care while ensuring safety and documentation accuracy in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or eNLC with active status
• BLS current and active
• PALS required within 1 year of hire
• NRP required within 1 year of hire
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments (head-to-toe, vitals, dressings)
• Discharge planning per policy and procedures
• Communicate patient progress and significant changes to physicians
• Plan, implement and document care with multidisciplinary team
• Administer medications with correct rights and monitoring
• Collaborate on daily rounds and family-centered care
• Document in the electronic health record accurately
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and home care
