Appledore Family Medicine, part of HCA Healthcare, invites experienced RNs to lead clinic operations as a Clinic Supervisor. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance, and contribute to cost-conscious patient care strategies.

The role requires strong clinical and administrative skills, with focus on policy implementation, budgeting, and collaboration with medical staff to maintain high-quality care.

Competenze

• RN license required; CPC Coding if coding duties are performed.
• 2–3 years of clinical experience in a medical office; at least 2 years in clinical management.
• Knowledge of health care administration, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to plan, organize, delegate and supervise; strong communication skills.

Job Summary and Qualifications

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

1. May have direct care duties.

2. Helps establish/implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned clinic areas.

3. Participates in the development and implementation of clinical plans.

4. Trains/orients, and supervises departmental personnel. Responsible for work assignment and daily operations.

5. May assist with selection/hiring, evaluating performance and recommending pay increases, promotions, or disciplinary action.

6. Resolves problems to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

7. Helps fiscal management and other administrative staff to develop/implement cost effective policies and procedures for all clinical areas, which may include billing, insurance, fee schedules, credit/collections, purchasing, and space planning.

8. Monitors and controls clinical expenditures to remain within budget.

9. Serves as liaison between clinic and external agencies.

10. Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided.

11. Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care trends and practices.

12. Maintains strictest confidentiality and privacy.

13. Performs related work as required.

14. Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: This position requires the following minimum requirements:

• Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
• Knowledge of health care administration practices.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
• Knowledge of government and reimbursement regulations and requirements.
• Skill in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising.
• Skill in verbal and written communication.
• Skill in researching, preparing, and presenting comprehensive reports.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision‑making and problem solving expertise.

EXPERIENCE:

• Two to three years of clinical experience in a medical office setting is required including 2 years in a clinical management position.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE

• RN is required. CPC Coding is requirement if coding duties are performed.
