Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in the OBGYN department at Prospect Medical Commons in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves accurate processing of medical orders, reviewing lab results, and coordinating care through telephone triage, with a focus on supporting healthcare providers.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing diploma or RN licensure and BLS certification, with 28 hours per week, Monday through Friday. L&D/Women's Health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
• RN licensure in WI or MN (or multi-state/Compact) prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
