Mercy Hospital is hiring an experienced RN to join the operating room team in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on patient safety and high-quality perioperative care, with a dynamic environment and collaboration with surgeons and staff.

The position is full-time with 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts. Licensure, BLS, and a nursing degree (AD, Diploma, or BSN) are required, with 1 year of OR or critical-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.
• Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure and must meet state requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or eligible within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift

• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
