Qualifications

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as an RN.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs and provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Identify patient goals and approaches, and address concerns.
• Summarize concerns for the Clinical Unit Manager.
