Job summary

Springtree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, VA is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary nursing staff to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care and help residents regain and maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (unencumbered).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of CNAs.
• Provide individualized nursing care per each resident's care plan.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
• Explain procedures to gain patient cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Observe vital signs and track patient progress.
• Maintain nursing records of care given and patient status.
• Document care plan updates to ensure continuity.
• Support residents emotionally and prepare for post-discharge care.
• Perform other duties to deliver exceptional resident care.
