Job summary

Springtree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care and supervise CNAs. You’ll deliver individualized nursing care, assist with admissions and discharges, and administer medications as prescribed in a supportive team environment.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $39.00 to $42.00 per hour, comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) and FSAs, PTO, daily pay, and an $8,000 retention bonus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (unencumbered).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of CNAs.
• Provide individualized nursing care per plan of care.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Explain procedures to gain patient cooperation.
• Observe vital signs and monitor progress.
• Maintain nursing records and care plans for continuity.
• Monitor emotional well-being and discharge planning.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care.
