Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Luverne facility provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process, collaborates with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver high-quality care. The role may include charge nurse responsibilities and delegation on 12-hour day shifts.

Candidates should graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold a current RN license in the state, and have or pursue required certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Current unencumbered RN license in state of practice and/or multi-state licensure.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessments, education, and nursing interventions; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks.
