Job summary

Good Samaritan in Luverne, MN seeks a Registered Nurse to provide full nursing care to residents using the nursing process across all care phases. This role collaborates with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.

The RN may serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff to ensure safe, high-quality care. A BSN is preferred with current licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure acceptable in NLC states.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams; educate residents and families as needed.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe, compliant care.
