About This Unit: 3H is a 22-bed Neuroscience/Spine unit at Blodgett Hospital that specializes in the care of patients with neurological conditions, stroke, and spinal surgeries such as fusions and laminectomies. Employees work with a variety of patients and develop expertise in stroke care, wound and drain management, and post-operative recovery. A unique skill for this unit is the utilization of the NIHSS Stroke Scale.
