Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy department at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. This day-shift role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You'll coordinate unit staffing, supervise nursing and support staff, assess patient needs, and ensure efficient care delivery. BLS and Wisconsin RN licensure required; ACLS preferred with 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

• Coordinate unit staffing and lead team to ensure quality patient care and clinical objectives are met.
• Assign, educate, and supervise nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
• Assess patient care needs and delegate assignments to ensure appropriate care delivery.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

ACLS, BLS, 1 year experience preferred

Weekday day shift, weekend and holiday on call rotation, call covering EMH and SJH campuses
