Piedmont Columbus Midtown in Columbus, GA seeks a Cath Lab Tech, PRN to assist physicians in invasive cardiac procedures and provide cardiovascular clinical care. Requires RCIS or RN with relevant licensure, BCLS and ACLS; RCES may be required. Prior imaging or RN experience preferred; 1 year in healthcare imaging or related fields if RCIS not yet completed.

Qualifications

• RCIS program completion or RN with relevant licensure required.
• 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience required or RCIS graduate with no experience required.
• RCIS/RN license requirements per above; RCES, BCLS and ACLS essential on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in invasive cardiac procedures and provides direct/indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of Cath Lab equipment and its upkeep; performs post-procedure documentation and patient monitoring as needed.
