Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Columbus, Georgia is seeking a fulltime Cath Lab Tech to assist in invasive cardiac procedures. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of Cath Lab equipment and be capable of providing both direct and indirect clinical care during procedures.

The ideal applicant has graduated from an RN, RCIS, or RCES program, possesses at least 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience, and holds required certifications including BCLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program, a Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program required.
• Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program required.
• 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.

Overview

Cath Lab Tech ll, Fulltime, Piedmont Columbus Midtown

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Education

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required. Upon Hire Required
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and
