Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of RN for our Cath Lab Department. This job is permanent, full-time.
Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatments.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Acts as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (preferred), Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required)
- Required Licenses (Tennessee, United States): Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or another compact state
- Required Skills & Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) at hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
