Description:

Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of RN for our Cath Lab Department. This job is permanent, full-time.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
  2. Documents patient care provided.
  3. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  4. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  5. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
  6. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  7. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required), Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
  • Required Licenses: Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or another compact state (Required)
  • Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required at hire), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Within 6 months of hire)
