Job summary

Ebenezer's Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington, MN seeks an RN Casual Nurse to lead nursing operations on the assigned unit. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring care plans are followed, administering medications, and maintaining documentation in compliance with regulations.

The role requires an MN RN license, CPR/BLS, and 2–3 years of nursing experience, with LTC management experience preferred. BSN is preferred to enhance leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license by start date.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years nursing experience; LTC management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct nursing functions on assigned unit to assure care per plan of care.

• Ensure Care Plan and medical records are up to date.
• Report issues to management and propose solutions.
• Serve as facility supervisor and assume administrative responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with State and Federal regulations and Ebenezer Standards.

Job Overview

The Martin Luther Care Center RN Casual Nurse leads, supervises and directs and/or delegates all nursing functions on assigned unit or floor to assure care is provided per plan of care. This position must demonstrate sound management skills through problem solving and decision making. They are responsible to supervise in compliance with State and Federal regulations as well as Ebenezer Standards and policies for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN (Martin Luther Care Center). Team includes a Director of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Social Worker, and more.

Weekend Long term care and transitional care unit charge nursing schedule includes:

• Casual/On-Call schedule
• Day/evening/night shift
• Weekends as needed

Assures staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, Nursing Standards of Practice and Ebenezer Quality Assurance Standards

Assures Care Plan, medical records and other documentation are up to date

Required

Minimum Associates RN Degree

One To Three Years' Experience Required

Current MN RN license by start date
