Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a Nurse Case Manager in Maitland, FL to manage workers' compensation files with a focus on high-quality, cost-effective medical care and timely return to work. You will collaborate with injured workers, providers, employers, and internal teams to align treatment with recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Excellent documentation, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage changing priorities with professional demeanor.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive case management for assigned workers' compensation claims.
• Assess claimants' medical status, work capacity, and treatment needs.
• Develop and document action plans to achieve Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI).
• Collaborate with treating providers, claim adjusters, employers, and attorneys where applicable.
• Coordinate and monitor medical treatment; recommend IMEs, second opinions, and site evaluations as appropriate.
• Evaluate treatment plans for necessity and appropriateness.
• Document all file activity clearly and in alignment with CCMSI standards.
• Report measurable cost savings and outcomes.
• Participate in problem-solving discussions to support efficient claim resolution.
• Provide on-site or virtual support at medical appointments, as needed.
