The IMA Group in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Field Nurse Case Manager (RN) for workers’ compensation on a flexible 1099 basis. This hybrid, field-based role requires coordinating medical care, attending appointments, and serving as a liaison among providers, employers, adjusters, and attorneys.

You will manage a flexible caseload with local travel, remote documentation, and autonomy in a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Active Florida RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of Workers’ Compensation Field Case Management experience.
• CCM, CRRN, or related certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans for injured workers.
• Attend medical appointments and assess treatment progression.
• Communicate with providers, employers, attorneys, and insurance carriers.
• Prepare timely, detailed case management reports.
• Evaluate medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
• Assist with return-to-work planning and transitional duty coordination.
• Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations as needed.

Position Overview

As a Field Nurse Case Manager, you will coordinate medical care for injured workers while serving as a liaison between providers, employers, adjusters, and attorneys. Your goal is to help ensure appropriate treatment, promote recovery, and support safe return-to-work outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans for injured workers
• Attend medical appointments and assess treatment progression
• Communicate with providers, employers, attorneys, and insurance carriers
• Prepare timely, detailed case management reports
• Evaluate medical necessity and appropriateness of care
• Assist with return-to-work planning and transitional duty coordination
• Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations as needed

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• Minimum 3 years of Workers’ Compensation Field Case Management experience
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
• Proficient with technology and electronic documentation
• Reliable transportation for local travel throughout Orlando and surrounding areas
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance or ability to obtain
• CCM, CRRN, or related certifications are a plus
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
